Quotation Mark   Great service & quirky rooms. We stayed there whilst on a Grand Canyon Road Trip with a group of friends and we were delighted staying in one of the Cabooses! It was like nothing we have ever stayed in before and we loved it.  Kevin and Shirley were really helpful and informative and we would definitely recommend this motel. ~ Marlborough, United Kingdom

Quotation Mark   Love, Love, LOVE this Motel!! This is our second time staying at the Canyon Motel. It is our lodging place of choice when in northern Arizona. There is NOTHING that can beat the experience of staying in a red caboose for children! My kiddos were thrilled beyond belief when we turned into the driveway for this property. They remembered how special it was last year and couldn't believe we were back! There are other room types besides the train cars at the Canyon Motel, but it's worth the price to stay in these one-of-a-kind accommodations! Great floor plan and layout for families, as well. It was a fabulous complement to our Polar Express experience and we wouldn't stay ANYWHERE else!! ~ Phoenix, Arizona

Quotation Mark   Family Reunion Extraordinare. This was truly like going to the old west and finding GOLD. This little Gem of a property had it all. It was centrally located like a Hub and the front desk girl (we found out later was the owner) was like a five star concierge. She told us about all the sites, trips, adventures and things we could do during our stay. We had some families going one way and others going another, but we always finished up back at the Canyon Motel & RV. She gave us discount coupons for local restaurants and told us where to go and where she advised us not to go to eat. We had a couple of families stay in the RV Park, so we were able to take advantage of them when we all pilled in for that unforgettable trip to the Grand Canyon.  Breathtaking really doesn’t say it all! You must see it. They also have the original 1940’s rock cabins you can stay in and some original train cars.  We loved this place so much and will look forward to returning very soon. (Next time in a train car or Caboose.) ~ San Diego, California

Quotation Mark   Awesome. This place is great. We stayed there in our RV for our visit to the Grand Canyon. They also have cabins and three different train cars you can stay in. The people are very nice. The area is beautiful. Our RV spot was in the trees which was wonderful. Some of the old trees have been carved into eagles, racoons and other little critters. Very clean laundry and shower facilites. There were also places for tents. So whether you are in an RV or looking for a place to stay in a tent or just get a room it is the place to go. Can't wait til we can go back for another visit. Thanks for a great time. ~ Englewood, Colorado

Quotation Mark   Great place to stay! We came in late in the evening, and they were very helpful. We got a nice comfortable, clean room in a very funny little cottage with a small terrace. They have all kinds of fun places to sleep (like in a train). The price was also very good. The location is good when you are traveling to the Grand Canyon. ~ Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Quotation Mark   Quiet stay when visiting Williams, AZ area. Very easy access to old Route 66 and it's a short trip into town for anything. Location on east side of town is quiet with great views in pines and it's on the edge of government land that is not improved. Find it on Google Earth and see for yourself. Suggest calling Marvelous Marv for a day trip to the Grand Canyon and leave your vehicle parked in the motel. ~ McAllen, Texas

Quotation Mark   Very nice clean place, friendly people. We called from the road 3 hours ahead to book an RV site (we had researched it online before the trip), and came in late at night. Assignment of site and all info was in a box at the entrance with a friendly note welcoming us. This is a nice clean place to stay, with the best restroom and shower facilities I've seen yet at an RV Park. The owners seem very conscientious and eager to provide a good experience. I would heartily recommend this place to anyone with or without an RV. ~ Concord, California

Quotation Mark   More memorable and exciting for the kids than the Grand Canyon! Motel grounds...there's even a playground! We were exhausted from a long day at the Grand Canyon and didn't want to stay in an overpriced hotel there because we were headed for Phoenix first thing the next morning anyway. So we went out on a limb and called them to see if one of their Kabooses was available and by luck one was! Tired as we were we arrived (35 min from Grand Canyon) to meet Shirley (owner) who was welcoming and friendly. The Train room was so cool and simple and above all else . . . CLEAN! We put our 3, 5, and 7 year olds in the fold out bed and we slept comfortably nearby in the queen sized one. The room was decorated with funny nostalgic signs warning passengers of conmen on the train and other such phrases. The next morning we took a bunch of great pictures in front of the large train car that says GRAND CANYON. Really a neat experience and a great chance to see the original Route 66 and the price was right. Highly recommended. ~ Toledo, Ohio

Quotation Mark   Loved the Railroad Cars. My family and I stopped in Williams for the night, not sure if we would find a place to stay being that it was the Thanksgiving Holiday. We always like trying new places, and when we saw this place we knew we had to stay. Canyon Motel had small cottages and Antique Railroad Cars which have been transformed into little quarters. The enviroment was like it was back in the oldtime days, and we enjoyed it. I would recommend this experience to anyone, and you are only 45 miles from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Oh yeah, if you have never seen a Christmas Tree lighting in a cute little town that's the place to be. ~ Arizona
